There are so many things I love about being an experienced Kamloops Wedding Photographer
but my favorite part is always the couple! Whether I’ve photographed at a venue twenty times or it’s brand new, the experience is always unique because the couple brings their own personalities to the day.
I have over 15 years of experience photographing weddings in Kamloops, the Okanagan, Vancouver, Calgary, rural BC and worldwide.
I can honestly say that I don’t have a favorite venue because there are so many great options depending on your style. But here are just a few of my favourite wedding venues in Kamloops and the surrounding areas -
I love photographing weddings at Sun Peaks all year round. I love that each wedding there is unique, and I have a special spot for the couples who choose to do winter weddings with the snow! I love that in the summer you can take the chairlift up to the top of the world and get incredible views!
Marriott Delta, Kamloops BC (formerly Hotel 540)
You can’t go wrong with a venue that’s in a central location, has great food (hello delicious Cordo Restaurant for your guests) a beautiful ceremony spot and a large ballroom! Ever thought about having your wedding on NYE? -It’s a guaranteed way to get your guests to dress to the nine’s, and party until at least midnight!
Monte Creek Winery, Thompson Okanagan BC
If you’re like me and you love wine, why not choose a spot that is not only beautiful but has great amenities as well!
South Thompson Inn + Conference Center
There are SO many options when it comes to choosing your venue, but the biggest thing will always be to choose somewhere the resonates with the two of you! The above two options are great choices with very different appeals!

This is a unique spot boasting beautiful vineyards and delicious Nk’Mip wine! The rooftop patio makes for a unique ceremony and reception spot, and I was overwhelmed with the surrounding beauty of the area!
Dolan Creek Farm located in Shuswap, BC

A relatively new favorite, but I loved the variety of different ceremony spots that they offer, the wonderful owner, and the gorgeous open air barn for the reception. Would be a great choice for anyone looking for a more rustic wedding feel.
